FLOATING TENSEGRITY CHAIR by Manfred Kielnhofer
Schwebender Fliegender Sessel.
Der einfache Z-Stuhl wurde mit dem Tensegrity System “Zugspannung und Ganzheit, Zusammenhalt” erweitert. Das Design wurde minimalistisch und puristisch von Kielnhofer gewählt, dadurch sticht das unglaubliche Schweben des Sessels vermehrt ins Auge des Betrachters. Die Zugspannungen übernehmen die einfachen Spanngurte und den Druck übernehmen die beiden Sesselteile aus gebogenen Stahlblech. Auf Grund der Physikalischen Grundbegriffe befinden sich die Druck und Zugspannungen im Gleichgewicht. Durch die hohen Spannungen, kann der Sessel das Gewicht einer Person noch zusätzlich tragen. Nehmen sie Platz und sind ein Teil “der Ganzheit” in der schwebenden Designwelt von Manfred Kielnhofer.
